National Accordion Awareness Month

In 1989, the month of June was established as the National Accordion Awareness Month, to help spread the word about the accordion’s “resurgence in popularity”, and to educate people about the instrument. It’s a great way to acknowledge and appreciate the beauty of accordion music and its contribution to music in American culture and around the world. 

As third-generation accordion artisans, accordions have always been important and a way of life for Gabbanelli. We’re proud to be part of our customers’ cultural heritage since 1961.
